When can we visit?

Our London shop on 7 Sackville Street is open for appointments from 10am until 5pm, Monday to Friday. You are always welcome to drop by and say hello to the team, though we recommend calling or emailing to book an appointment to ensure someone is free to see you.

How long does a bespoke suit commission take?

Our current lead time is around 8-12 weeks for a bespoke suit, however this depends entirely on whether you are able to visit us as when we are ready for fittings on your garments.

If your figuration/posture changes throughout the fitting process, this can alter the completion time also.

For the clients that we see exclusively in New York/Palm Beach, our suit timings are around 6- 12 months based on our three annual trips.

If however you have a certain event or occasion for which you would like your garments, we are more than happy to work with you where possible to coordinate fitting appointments and our work schedule to satisfy your requirements.

How many fittings do I need?

For new customers, we usually like 3 fittings following the first appointment when you order. This is to ensure that we finalise your pattern and get it just right. This usually allows future commissions to require only 2 fittings. This process entirely depends on the individual and the fabrics used so it can vary.

Global Tailor, when can we visit you outside of London?

We currently travel to Palm Beach in January and New York City in January, May and October every year. If you wish to make an appointment please call the shop or email to book in with us.

Do you offer made to measure services?

We currently only provide a bespoke service at Kent & Haste.

How much do your bespoke garments cost?

Our bespoke garment pricing varies greatly, depending entirely on the fabrics chosen and garment styling details. If you are interested in commissioning a piece, you can enquire here and one of the team will get back to you.

Do you make bespoke garments for Women?

Yes! We make many bespoke garments for ladies and offer the same level of bespoke service as we do for our gents. The process is exactly the same as the above and clients will see Suyamba for fittings.

Where are your garments made?

Our garments are all made in London by our house tailors who have been working for Kent & Haste since it was established in 2009. Most of them have been working closely with John Kent and Terry Haste for the last 50 years.

Can my bespoke garments be altered after they have been finished?

Yes, we leave plenty of inlay inside all our garments to allow us to let out or take in garments as you change in the future.

Will you tailor/alter my non-Kent and Haste garments?

Yes we do alterations and repairs on non-Kent & Haste garments and are more than happy to assist you in these tailoring requirements.

Can I buy fabric directly from you?

Yes we have a selection of specially selected fabrics on the roll in store that you are welcome to view and purchase.

Pricing Philosophy

We pride ourselves on fair pricing. We believe that our prices and exceptional quality and service in a welcoming atmosphere have enabled us to attract clients and maintain the long term relationships with them that maximise the mutual benefits of the bespoke experience.
